A range of artefacts paint a picture of religion in ancient Egypt.

The Return of the Gods. Berlin's Hidden Olympus.
The approximately 150 marble sculptures and bronze statuettes, terracotta vases, ceremonial objects and jewellery offer a comprehensive look at the Graeco-Roman world of gods. Visitors will learn about the myths behind the familiar images, and in this way read the encrypted images.

VIENNA

Gods, Men and the Money of the Greeks. Special Greek Coins  from Vienna and Winterthur.
The Numismatic Collections of the Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) in collaboration with the Numismatic Collection of the City of Winterthur, presents a special exhibition on masterpieces of Greek coinage. One aim of the exhibition is to present the economic aspects of coinage in the Greek states from the 7th century BC to the time of Alexander the Great.
